Shiloh Road Merlot
(about $12/bottle)
We scored this bottle (actually a couple bottles!) at BevMo during their annual 5 cent Wine Sale. This Merlot paired well with our veggie pasta dinner. We chose this bottle because it was a Gold Medal winner in the 2011 San Francisco Chronicle's Wine Competition. Our review: easy to drink Merlot with a deep plum tone.
