so much has happened since my last post. my maid of honor, also a sister, hosted a fabulous bridal shower complete with fun games, presies and good company. it was so lovely. i'm so lucky. ryan just returned from his bachelor party weekend in san clemente. he assured me that all shenanigans were in good faith and all of the guys had a fun time. i get to go on my bachelorette getaway weekend in june. that should be hoot. and hot. a hot hoot. ha.
i am up much too late. i seem to get on cleaning sprees at the oddest hours and subsequently have brilliant ideas. mostly wedding ideas that i deem brilliant. brilliant ideas such as pineapple lemonade for my lemonade bar. sounds delish, i know. wait 74 more days and you can try it.
jenn and kevins wedding is soon. june 22nd. and then tiffany and lukes wedding is that next weekend, the 29th. im excited to see all of jenn's creativeness and have some sweet treats. and i must work on my moh speech for tiff's celebration.
in putting together my playlists for the wedding, i have become quite the musician. i am currently obsessed with: "say aahh" by trey songz and "skinny love" by bon iver and "i want to be a billionaire" by travie mccoy and bruno mars. and although i'm always obsessed with tyrone, this song is divinely perfect for the wedding "running around in my dreams". lykke li "little bit". "say hey" by micheal franti. my sister shared this with me: "merry happy" by kate nash, i had heard her on pandora before and she is adorable. and this song makes me cry like everytime i hear it. "marry me" by train. not sure how many of these songs are actually wedding dj appropriate, but needless to say my current playlist is very eclectic.
