do you girls have a place to stay tonight?

last night was wayyy fun. dana point. newport. chardonnay. 41st street. budlight. taxi. rudys. randoms. malarkys. pizza. couch. i need to do a fun night every month. it made me so happy to spend time with good silly new friends. and i got to wear my banana republic outfit and my leather jacket. i didnt even care that i had to wake up early and leave as everyone else slept in. it was so nice to wake up at the beach. the drive home was pleasant too. good songs on the radio all the way home!
and today at work everyone was complaining about having to complete inventory but i was having such a great day i didnt care. i just recorded that we had enough beers, plenty of vodka and 2 cases of wine. tomorrow is the superbowl and we are busy. why do people want to play golf instead of watching the big game? i have a standing five dollar bet with justin at work that the steelers will win. i cannot wait to be five dollars richer thanks to the yellow team.
sara got a late christmas present today. its the snuggie and special book light! she has agreed to leave them both downstairs for everyone to use. the snuggie is so cozy. i have nice roomies.
this time next week my sisters and i will be hosting my dad's 50th surprise birthday party. drinking wine and eating snacks. fun.
my new hair conditioner smells like orange blossoms. it was on sale. lucky me.

fridays are my mondays

i was on time to school today. my last class got out early so i was able to get a head start on planning my dad's 50th surprise birthday party. don't tell him. he's not one for birthdays or surprises, but you are only 50 once and we love to party. with wine. and cheese. i love my dad and i love my creative sister even more. my ohana is lovely. next friday we are taking my dad to la to the pantages theatre to see phantom of the opera. its his fave and we have floor seats. boo-ya! floor seats! my friend at work got engaged today. lucky beezy. she was all nonchalant about it too. psh-when that precious day comes for me i know i will be that annoying girl flinging my left hand in everyone's face, pointing out that i am to be married soon. cbu's mantra seems to be "ring by spring" but my mantra is "diploma by december". not quite the same but wayy super close. tomorrow is friday and everyone loves fridays. i do not. fridays are my mondays: the start to my work week at the course. lots of moneys but no magic weekend trips for pagelynn. let the week begin!

today i woke up early. at 7am. i took my time getting ready for school and even sat downstairs to have breakfast at the kitchen table and watch the morning news. i got to school at 9:15- which would be completely fine if it was either tuesday or thursday... but today is wednesday. and i was late. mwf classes start at 9. tth classes are @9:30. i am a complete dork. in my organizational communications class we watched 12 angry men and answered some questions in groups. im in the group with the girl who dissents with everyone just to prove a point. she may even concede that she agrees with everyone but a different point of view must be discussed. i may lose points because i feel as if i will not play nice with her. pfchangs was way super lame tonight. i clock in at 5:30 and get my first table at 6:45. no joke- we are that slow. i vow to never be that old lady who orders white zin and askes for separate checks. never.ever. 11:51 & i just completed my first history of baptist thought interactive review. i am not sure i reviewed anything of what baptists think correctly and i did not interact with the text very much. i hope i get a good grade. tomorrow is thursday and i go to class at 9:30.

i wore my denim vest to school today and felt confident about it.

i'm here to blog people. blog it all out. blog one, blog all. blogger4life. im a bloggin' mess. my sister has a blog and i need one too. this is the way i figure it: i am on the computer entirely way too much and hosting my very own blog will simply add to the hours of internet entertainment and paper writing postponement. today i woke up with a nerve induced headache (yay) so i skipped school and work to recoup. i managed to paint my nails a yummy coral color and stay in my pjs alllll day. tiara's and toddlers is on now so i must go.
